Monday: At work, I’ve listened to many podcasts; one of them made me nostalgic about being a teenager in the 1980s and 1990s, which makes no sense because I was a teenager in the 2000s and 2010s. It’s crazy how I can miss things I’ve never lived. Back at home, I did exercises, wrote part 01 of my recap on Real Madrid’s 2020/21 season and watched Hannibal. By my current standards, it was a busy day.
Tuesday: Today is Wednesday; I realized that I totally forgot to write yesterday. Business as usual at work, back at home, I wrote this month’s Soaring Penguin Press newsletter and Death is Eternal Review #07. I also did exercise and went to buy curtains, but it was all sold out at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Winners and Hudson’s Bay were closed, which to me, as a Brazilian, is absurd. I think I’ll never get used to how early things close in Canada. I’m accustomed to shopping and big stores closing at 10 pm, not 7 pm.
Wednesday: At work, I listened to some old podcasts and felt nostalgic about the first time I’ve heard them. Back at home, I’ve written two posts for the Micro Com Systems blog and the second part of my analysis about the Real Madrid 2020/21 season; I also did exercises and went to the market.
Thursday: Nothing new at work. At home, I wrote Death is Eternal Review #08 and did exercise. Pretty exciting day!
Friday: Same old, same old at work. Before coming back home, I stopped at Shoppers to buy chocolate and a smoothie in a next-door store. At home, I’ve finished Hannibal and did exercises. In theory, I had a meeting, but it never happened; what can we do? If everything goes according to the plan, tomorrow I’ll spend the day lying down on the couch.
Saturday: I’ve watched all eight episodes of O Caso Evandro, and Jessica took her second Covid shot today. We went to Starbucks and Tim Hortons—the former has the best coffee while the latter has better food—and that was the day. I love lazy days; I wanted all my days to be like this.
Sunday: Writing way earlier today. I wrote the third and last part of my analysis about Real Madrid’s 2020/21 season. Today, I still have to go to the market, clean the house and cook my launch for the week. Society needs a three-day weekend; only then would we have two days to rest.
